On Tuesday 8th January I was admitted to ICU with a very severe and unusual type of pneumonia.
Through God’s grace, the excellent care of the doctors and nurses looking after me and the right medications I am on the road to a full recovery. My recovery so far has been much quicker than expected, especially considering how sick I was when admitted to hospital.
My recovery is now at home with continuing medications and rest. I am very keen to get back to work but can’t do so until I have fully recovered. If my progress to date is a guide it should not take too long before I’m back at work.
I apologise that my illness has caused you inconvenience and challenges with your pregnancy care. I have arranged for two of my colleagues to cover my practice so there shouldn’t be any further hiccups in my absence.
