|First visit with me for most patients
I will give you a referral for routine pregnancy tests, NIPT Screening (if requested) and booking information for a hospital.
|Routine blood tests done

Book into hospital
|Baby’s morphology ultrasound scan

Antenatal visit frequency
We are also asked about the frequency of antenatal visits. In the table below is summarised the usual frequency of visits. There will be variations if there are pregnancy complications that warrant more frequent visits throughout the pregnancy. As well an extra visit may be needed if there is a pregnancy development or concern between routine visits (such as bleeding).
|Usually each 4 -5 weeks
|Usually each 2 – 3 weeks
|Usually each 2 weeks
